I love how stuff just randomly appears on my canvas. I am very excited that I found a painting technique that celebrates brunette girls now. I love the floppy bean bag horse too, he looks so comfy, which is perfect when you are riding through a magical world!
the round shapes and swirls are my favorite part about this. some look like eyes, while others take on more "gothic" shapes (i see a few floating bodies, for instance). i can't tell if the girl's expression is one of calm or sadness; the title would lead me to believe calm. finally, i love the tension created in the upper right corner through the use of scratches/cracks and just the overall technique.
Cool work... I'm going to be busy for a few days, but I hope to add a critique once I get some settled time, probably after New Years. If I don't respond soon, know that it's because I'm busy and not tied to a computer so much.
